Food was very good, as was service. a bit more expensive in comparison, but a nice ambience. A drinks menu, as well as better ventilation (the air was very humid & warm, uncomfortable) particularly desirable during Corona times. Also very small rooms, not so much apart, but seating areas separated with Plexiglas

We were on September 17th. visiting here at the Castell. After a great starter, the homemade falden bread, which was really great, and the rather mediocre dips couldn't change anything, the rather poor main course unfortunately followed. My companion got a very dry schnitzel, which reminded me both visually and in taste of a frozen canteen schnitzel with a ready-made sauce. My Soulflaki skewer was made of pork loin and a bit tough, so fried too long and unfortunately the gyros was also very salty and a bit too dry, but both were edible. The fries were not edible, however. Here I got V-shaped fries for the first time, which were not cut from potatoes, but made like pringels from a deep-fried puree. Highly industrial fries that taste exactly as they sound. It's a shame and, especially after the great starter, very disappointing. I will not come back again.

Great, tasty and excellent food. Service very nice and attentive. It took a long time from ordering to eating. But it was worth it. Do not go there with severe hunger. But enjoy the nice flair in the rustic garden. If you take the time, you will have an enjoyable time.

Definitely the best (Greek-Mediterranean) restaurant in Bückeburg. The gyros skewer is inserted by the operator himself and is not a product from the supplier. Otherwise, fresh ingredients are used and the fries are really unique! Special requests away from the menu are always catered for, provided the ingredients are there. The service is extremely attentive and super friendly. You just feel extremely comfortable! The ambience in one of the oldest buildings in the city is also great and really romantic. By the way: in addition to a separate lunch menu, there is also a seasonal menu, so that there is enough variety!

Very tasty food and very friendly staff. Nice outside area. In addition, the meal was ready very quickly. I cannot understand the recessions regarding very long waiting times. 🤔

Meat was very tasty, French fries not so (Bückeburger pan). Eating on the table shockingly quickly. Our dishes were already on the table 12 minutes after ordering ... that sounds suspiciously like ready-made products to me. Otherwise a nice ambience, very nice service and at the price you can't expect much more in terms of food.

Unfortunately, less is not enough to share my experience ... Even with the delivery of the drinks, important questions would be asked and incorrectly assigned ... The food was a long time coming. It was an appetizer and 3 main courses. An hour later, without any attention from the operator, the following happened: When asked how long it would take, the answer in the kitchen was that it was on the stove, we asked for a more precise time and it started again ... After about 5 minutes she came with a warm plate with a side salad. Shortly afterwards the starter and a good 5 minutes later the main courses. My companions were not satisfied, I can say the following about my dish: The Bifteki was completely over-spiced, the tomato rice hardly at all, the tomato sauce was rather diluted tomato paste without seasoning, the tzatziki also very mild. With the salad plate there was a coleslaw that was not prepared separately.

Actually, I wouldn't give a star at all ... I wonder how these high ratings came about ... food was not seasoned at all and the 1 dish out of 3 was totally over-seasoned ... food came to the table after over 1 hour after that I asked .... as soon as I had a bite of my food, I got stomach problems .... I will not come again !!!!

The food was very tasty, but only arrived approx. 2h after ordering! Service can be expanded! If you work on it, everything fits 😉👍🏼

How could I ignore this restaurant for years? It was very, very tasty. I really know a lot of Greek restaurants. This is definitely one of the best. We will be back. Top recommendation.

Nice friendly service, fast and good service. Very wide range, I only use the Greek part of the menu and was always very satisfied. Very good value for money in a pleasant atmosphere.

Our family ordered food from the Castell restaurant today. The food was really delicious! Everything freshly prepared, the meat a pure pleasure and perfect time no long wait. And as if that wasn't enough, we also saved 20 percent, so even picking it up was fun. We will definitely order more often, 5 out of 5 stars and with a very, very good conscience.

The allocated space had to be cleared again after a short time. An ordered drink was forgotten. No greetings from the kitchen, food was good. Deduction of points because the bill was incorrect. Was regulated on demand. Would have expected a second ouzo as an excuse. This place gets a second chance.

Very nice local Greek Mediterranean restaurant with a myriad of choice. Local people recommended us this restaurant. We went there for dinner on a regular Tuesday evening. Once we arrived, we were surprised by the fact how many tables were already occupied. For sureness sake a good sign the place is popular to eat. Luckily the waitress had a table for us 3.

We have been served here again for the first time. The landlord and the entire service understand their business. The dishes are first class, Greek of course, you have to like that ;-), but we always feel very comfortable here. Good drinks - even the white wine - and a pleasant atmosphere, good air and a perfect price / performance ratio. What more do you want? We will be back!!!!
